DocMinder Privacy Policy

DocMinder is a local desktop application. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to Helsesoft LLC or any third party.

What DocMinder does on your device

DocMinder indexes and searches documents (such as PDFs) that you choose to add to it, entirely on your own computer. This may include personal information contained within those documents — for example, names, dates, or case details in files you index for legal or research purposes.

This indexing happens locally only. DocMinder does not:

Send document content, filenames, or search queries over the internet
Use analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting
Require an account, login, or internet connection to function
Share any data with Helsesoft LLC or any other party

Data you control

All indexed data (the search index, extracted text, and any notes you create) is stored locally on your device, in a location you choose. You can delete this data at any time by removing the relevant project folder or uninstalling DocMinder.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
